Presidential candidate Barack Obama has inspired artists to create more unsolicited music than any candidate in American history.

musically this was not any member of pearl jam's finest hour, but stone gossard leads the way in a remake of  "rock around the clock" titled "rock around barack.

this was from back in the primary.  for what it's worth, at eddie vedder's solo shows this summer he had a huge obama poster walked behind him at some point during each show.  he dedicated a remake of "blackbird" to him as well.
