Re: You owe me 1 minute and 31 seconds of my (2.00 / 2)

You gave it that long?  Heck, as soon as I realized it was more of Darlink's wacky birth certificate fantasy I just skipped on ahead.  I wasted only about 55 seconds but the snickering made up for most of it.

They lost me at 40 seconds, at infanticide (sp?).

Has anyone else considered that the October Surprise of this election is the economic collapse?

The October Surprise does not have to be a campaign tactic.  It is simply a last minute game-changer.

Re: October Surprise (2.00 / 4)

Ok, I watched/put myself through the whole thing.

1. This guy is obviously a PUMA (and so are you, since your last diary was a rant about Obama from APRIL)

2. Obama has released his birth docs, this guy is just saying they're fake.  The State of Hawaii could obviously say they're fake.  Barack and Maya didn't say the same hospital where he was born...so what?  If my brother said I was born at the other hospital in Kenosha does that mean he's lying?

3. If he was naturalized, he would be on the books as a naturalized citizen.

4. He claims that Barack was born in Kenya, while it is been made clear that Barack Sr. was at the U of Hawaii studying when he met Ann Dunham.  There is no record of Ann Dunham going back to Kenya or Barack Sr. going back to Kenya during the middle of his studies.  47 years ago it would have been completely impractical.

5.  You should not have to produce documents that are already in the public arena to some lawyer that has a clear political agenda.

6.  Please don't forget your pitchfork before you head to the next McCain rally.

Re: October Surprise (2.00 / 2)

OK, I watched the whole thing.  And read the Berg v Obama documents currently before the court.

Firstly, this is a pretty bad example of a disgruntled Hillary supporter making as much mischief for Obama as the law permits.  Secondly, both the arguments against Obama being a 'natural born citizen,' and you have to wonder why two separate and conflicting arguments are made if the intent of the suit is not merely malicious, are both spurious in light of Citizenship and Naturalization - INA §349.

I really wonder, also, at your motivation for posting this diary.  Public service announcement?  I don't think so.  I agree with Obama's and the DNC's motion to dismiss, this is a trivial and malicious misuse of our judiciary.

Little Accomplishments (2.00 / 4)

"Mission Accomplished"

I'm going to skip the easy and obvious Bush references for the moment.

What I love so much about these nutjobs is they're so darned easily satisfied.  He tosses out a tired old crackpot theory that we've all heard a hundred times before.  (Hey, we used to house the actual, genuine, original wild & way-wacky Darlink' back in the day!)  This time the crazy is gussied up with some shiny video that gives it all the authenticity of... oh, let's say a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

So he gave us a few extra laughs and a few moments of pity for these looks.  That's his idea of success?  He doesn't even try to ride it for a full 30 minutes?  Maybe the bar is so low because that's the only level of success they're going to garner?  (Not to mention that this poor, pitiable soul even had to recycle his single insult throughout this entire, severely limited thread.)

Free advice to our next nutcase:  If you want even more attention, try out the Barack's books secretly ghost-written by William Ayers theory.  It's all the rage in the fringe-o-sphere & makes for loads of raucous laughter.

C'mon crazies, this is high-stakes time!  This is the presidency of the United States!  Make the effort, go the extra mile, troll better!

Haha whoever made that video totally ripped off Andrew Kramer's 3d room and light streaks After Effects tutorials.  Literally, they just copied both tutorials exactly and then added their own logo.  Lame.

Intellectually dishonest content and just plain lazy production.  Come back when you've found The Whitey Tape(tm), tiger.

Pathetic.  The funniest part is that these folks blew their credibility in April with the whitey tape and Larry Sinclair, so no one will ever believe them again - if you ever want to watch a dozen grown adults throw tantrums, then head over to No Quarter and ask them where the Whitey Tape is.  Instant freakout.

Edge current greatest hits (2.00 / 0)

We've Got to Move Foward
by EdgeCurrent, Sat Mar 15, 2008 at 09:47:13 AM EST

I am a Hillary supporter, but I grieve for Obama. I am hearing from a lot of Democrats feeling this way. I confess I am angry. With Obama, the corrupt MSM, Big Blogs, the DNC, Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton, my sister and my Baptist minister brother-in-law, David Axelrod, African-Americans, Al Sharpton....I'll stop there.

But of course we are in a war......with the GOP machine. We cannot lose sight of that. ALL of us have to take some time and refocus ourselves for the battles ahead.

Things for all of us to consider:

Is Obama now a fatally flawed candidate? At this point can we send him into the GE to face the GOP and the corrupt MSM? Here's why I grieve for Obama. Despite all the well known talents, intelligence, and skills that Obama possesses, Obama like all of us is a complicated person, whose views and character are shaped by his experiences.

Unfortunately this primary has spun into a mashup of ambition, division, experience and inexperience, media corruption, hasty decisions and Obama's own personal experiences. In my opinion his campaign failed to fully and honestly vet their candidate for a NATIONAL PRESIDENTAL election against the GOP machine.

But we are where we are and the bottom line questions for me are:
Can Obama survive GDA (God Damn America), Rezko and the house deal, and any other unknown unknowns Obama will reveal to us in the future. The answer for me is no.

Based on this I have to urge ALL democrats at this point in the campaign to do what ever it takes to unify behind our remaining candidate and fight like hell to:

Put a Democrat in the WH
Reach a 60% filibuster proof majority in the Senate
Increase our majority in the House

Now that's real power.

Re: October Surprise (2.00 / 1)

How is this any different than when Larry Johnson claimed this last month, and the month before that, and the month before that, and the month before that when he was pretending to be a Democrat?

When you've been caught lying again and again, nobody will ever believe you.  All you can do is throw tantrums and hope to get attention, but you'll never be taken seriously again.  I wouldn't trade places with you for anything.

And the No Quarter folks know it too: a while back I made a bet that if the Whitey Tape was produced, I would vote for McCain if the people that were claiming that it exists would vote for Obama if it wasn't produced.  I got no takers.  Even they know it's horseshit.

Just curious (2.00 / 1)

Jerome Corsi's book is a NYT bestseller, go into any Border's in America and it's by the entrances. It's been there for months.

Yet, Obama is polling at all-time historical highs.

Why do you think this smear is any different? Do you honestly think a cheesy crackpot video is going to move the dial when a bestselling crackpot hardback couldn't?

It's over. He's going to win.  Stop wasting your life on crap like this. At least Corsi made a few sheckels.

It,s not a sports term. It's Malcolm X words from the 1970's meant to mean that black people were being bamboozled,"hoodwinked by the okey-doke" by white people. The idea was that white people were to be hated and could never be trusted by blacks.

Do you even know who Malcolm X was and the radical black racism he preached ? You children are showing your age and your ignorance.
